Living from the Secret Place… Body, Soul and Spirit

We are created body, soul and spirit – you cannot deal with the one without giving attention to the other.

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing and not merely just the absence of disease or infirmity. Like a chain, you are only as strong as the weakest link. If our physical body is not performing as it should, it is going to weigh you down emotionally, which will have an influence on your thought life (soul) and eventually penetrates your spirit. When you are physically, mentally and spiritually well, you operate in wholeness, the fertilized soil needed to foster the development of your full potential.

At its core, the wholeness through wellness journey is about balance. The food you eat, the drinks you consume, the supplements you take, the medicine you use, the harmful chemicals and substances you expose yourself to, the thoughts you think, the emotions your carry, the stressors you allow in your life, the relationship you have with God – all of these contributes to or diminish your experience of an abundant life.

1 Thes 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through (that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged – consecrated to Him – set apart for His purpose); and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and (be found) blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Amp)

The aim of our workshops is to bring a better understanding of the above scripture. We will share insight on the following:

Body – Healthy Living

1 Cor 6:13 “Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food, but God will do away with both of them…” (Amp)

Gen 1:29 “And God said: “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the land and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.” (Amp)

1 Cor 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]?” (Amp)

Wholeness is about maturity to understand and accept the truth and the self-discipline to walk in it; independent of fleshly things to stimulate.

Soul – Healing of Soul Wounds

3 John 2: “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health (physically), just as (I know) your soul prospers (spiritually). (Amp)

Wholeness is the place where you are willing to submit to the renewal of your mind through His Words and His principles to rebuild the brokenness of the condition of your heart.

Spirit – Abiding in the Secret Place

Rev 4:5 “From the throne came flashes of lightning and (rumbling) sounds and peals of thunder. Seven lamps of fire were burning in front of the throne, which are the seven Spirit of God.” (Amp)

Is 11:2 “And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him – The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and strength, The Spirit of knowledge and of the (reverential and obedient) fear of the Lord-“ (Amp)

Rev 22:17 “The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, believers) say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost.” (Amp)

Wholeness creates the capacity to be vessels and carriers of His presence, His purposes, His blessings…
