Benefits of Shea Butter

It works as an emollient that softens and hydrates the skin.  Because it contains several types of fatty acids, that improve the skin’s natural barrier, shea butter also protects skin from damage from the environment like pollutants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which make it a perfect fit to soothe and nourish upset skin.  Shea butter contains quite a few antioxidants, including Vit A and Vit E.  Vit A especially, has been shown to prevent fee radical damage when applied to the skin.

According to clinical studies applying Almond Oil to the skin may have the following benefits: Reduces puffiness and under-eye circles; improves complexion and skin tone; treats dry skin; improves acne; helps reverse sun damage; reduces the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

Benefits of Clary Sage

Clary Sage Essential Oil contains an ester called linalyl acetate.  Essentially this powerful compound works to reduce skin inflammation, heal the epidermis and soothe the skin.

Rose Geranium is soothing and balancing when used on the skin.  It balances sebum, which makes it very useful for skin that is very oily or very dry, or otherwise not in balance.  Rose Geranium is reputed to balance the skin’s natural oil production, minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, eliminate infection-causing or acne-causing bacteria, enhance circulation, reduce the appearance of dull skin, promote the faster fading of scars and blemishes, soothe uncomfortable skin ailments and generally rejuvenate the complexion.

How to use:

Step #1:  Follow our usual wash and tone routine.

Step #2:  Apply a few drops of our Rescue Serum in the mornings and/or evenings.  You can alternate between your day cream and the serum or use the serum only.  After application your skin will feel soft, smooth, hydrated and balanced.

Cautions and Storage info:

Caution: Avoid contact with eyes.  If product eye contact occurs rinse with clean cold water.  This product contains natural oils and essential oils and may cause irritation to certain skin types.  If skin irritation occurs discontinue use.

For external use only.  Store below 25ᵒC, away from direct sunlight.  Use within 3 months after opened.
