Ark of the Covenant – David’s arising and coming forth
2 Samuel 16:15
“15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.”
As sons and daughters of the King it is of utmost importance to be able to discern the times and the seasons, so that we may know what to do and how to handle what we are facing and moving into.
1 Chronicles 12:32 New King James Version (NKJV)
“…of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;”
The sons and daughters of Abba have been in a season of preparation, sanctification and testing of our hearts. Personally for me 2019 was truly a year of being in the fire of extreme testing and purification. I have never experienced the weight of His hand on my life like I did in this past year. The weight of His Hand for me is the wilderness, the place of preparation; it is a place that is safely guided under the protection of His hand but also a place where you experience the “heaviness” of His Glory and presence preparing you for what is coming.
Isaiah 64:8 – “But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; And we are all the work of Your hand.”
In the wilderness Abba has been preparing us on His potter’s wheel, under the guidance of HIS HAND as sons and daughters, to become the Ark of the Covenant so that we can carry His presence in fullness in this time to come. He has raised-up the “David’s” of this generation that will bring the “ark” back home. But what we don’t understand is that not just any one can “carry” the ark. There was a lot of preparation that they had to go through in order to “carry” the ark back home without dying. In the same way God has been preparing a people to carry the ark, to carry His presence and reveal His Glory unto His people, and therefore we had to submit our lives completely into the Hands of the potter, He had to break and reshape and remould our lives. The wilderness was the potter’s wheel; you had to become like clay in His hands again and there on the wheel in the wilderness He formed and shaped us into the “ark of the covenant”, into the willing vessels that will carry and manifest His Glory. Through these “David’s” that are arising, the ones that have gone through the fire and the wilderness, God will manifest His presence and bring in the greatest harvest that the world has ever seen. They will be dead to self, dead to the opinion of man, dead to the things of this world, they will carry the heart of the Father in this time and the fruit of their ministry will be “love”. But this love is not a “feeling” it will be the kind of love that Yeshua, Jesus, walked in, it will be love to the point where they are willing to lay down their lives for the sake of the Gospel, the Truth of His Word. These “David’s” will dance “naked” before their King, these “David’s” will only obey the voice of God and NOT man, that is why they had to go through the Wilderness and be trained under the “weight of God’s Hand” on the potter’s wheel. 1 Samuel 16 New King James Version (NKJV)
David Anointed King
“16 Now the Lord said to Samuel, ‘How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have [a] provided Myself a king among his sons.’”
Just like he Chose David as a King to Himself, God chose sons and daughters in this time unto Himself. They will bring heaven down to earth and manifest His Glory, they will carry His presence and represent His heart, they paid a price in this last season, and that price was lying down their lives before the King of kings, and saying “Here I am Lord, send me” these David’s had been moulded and shaped into the perfect will of God as they surrendered their lives to the Hands of God and became like clay on the Potter’s wheel.
Many of these “David’s” are feeling hopeless and carry the scars of the battles they had to fight in the wilderness, many of them feel tired and weary; but I believe with all my heart that we are crossing over into that which God has prepared us for, they have been truly prepared for such a time as this. God has tested their hearts like Gold to the point where they felt broken and if there was nothing left. This place of brokenness was not God punishing you, it was Him testing our hearts and taking the things of this world and other god’s out of us. He was shaping, moulding and forming our characters so that we will be able to stand in this time to come, He was reshaping and reforming us into the vessels that will carry His Glory.
Jeremiah 17:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
“I, the Lord, search the heart, test the [a] mind, Even to give every man according to his ways,”
According to the fruit of his doings.
To Carry His Glory does not come cheap, a lot of people confess and sing songs about His glory, but they do not understand the weight and the price of it. To carry His glory will cost you everything, and with that I mean, everything that is not pleasing unto Him. When you lay down your life before Him, you allow Him to come and remove everything in and around you that is not of Him, all your plans, dreams, hopes, ways of doing things might not always be His, and then when you allow Him to come in and bring your life into His perfect will and alignment it might mean letting go of many things that you “thought” were right, it also means the dying of the desires and lusts of the flesh, this transition and process is not easy, your soul and flesh will fight against your spirit. Your spirit will be strong and say yes but your flesh will fight against this, this “fight” is where many were in this last season, the same “fight” that Jesus had in the garden of Gethsemane.
Luke 22:41-46 Amplified Bible (AMP)
“41 And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup [of divine wrath] from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.” 43 [a] Now an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. 44 And being in agony [deeply distressed and anguished; almost to the point of death], He prayed more intently; and His [b] sweat became like drops of blood, falling down on the ground.
He had to overcome His flesh in order to accomplish His mandate that God had for Him, He literally had to die, His flesh was crucified literally, our process was not a physical death, but a death to the desires of flesh and a healing of our soul so that the Holy Spirit in us could increase and take full control.
Galatians 2:20 New King James Version (NKJV)
“20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
The David’s arising out of the dessert can truly say it is no longer I who live but Christ in me.
In my spirit I see these David’s coming out one by one and walking into the valley of dry bones, this represents the church and bride of Christ. These David’s will carry the presence and breath of God to speak life back into the church, into the bride of Christ and bone to bone, sinew to sinew they will come together, a great mighty army and the breath of God will blow over them and they will come to life!
Ezekiel 37:4-10
“4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the [a]breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and [b] breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.”
Those who endured the wilderness and are coming out will understand that, what they carry is not to glorify themselves or to bring more attention to themselves, but their whole being will live and breathe only for Him. And to understand that what they carry is to bring the church, the bride back to life, the very breath of God is in their lungs because it is no longer they who live but Christ in them, and His heart is for His Bride. Yeshua is coming back for a bride that is alive! A bride that is pure and filled with the Truth of His Spirit. What these “David’s” have gone through was all for the sake of His Bride, to bring restoration and resurrection, it is time for these ones to speak! Speak and prophesy to the dry bones and see the breath of God bring the church back to life, it is time to bring the ark of the covenant back home! It is time for the glory of God to fill this earth. And He will do that through the vessels that He has prepared within the wilderness.
As these ones are stepping out of the wilderness, the very giants that they slayed and killed are now trying to “come back to life”. Just as God is calling them to speak to the dead church the dry bones, the enemy, is bringing things of the past, giants before them and the warning is; these giants are DEAD. You have overcome them, you have beheaded them and they cannot live again unless you speak them back to life! Do not fall for this trap! Whatever you speak unto, from this moment forward, will come back to life and the enemy knows that. Don’t speak life back into that which you have killed and overcome in the desert! They are dead, you have the heads of those giants in your hands, speak life into the dry bones of the church!
If you had to overcome sickness in the wilderness, know that you ARE healed as you step out, don’t give attention to the false “smoke screens” that the enemy is placing before you. It is just a shadow; look past it, your promise is right on the other side. Whatever giants you killed, lacked, poverty, addictions, low self-esteem, fear of man etc. don’t speak life into it! This is the enemy’s final attempt to keep you trapped in your past and old-man-state. You are now a new creation; Christ is alive within you. Speak life into your destiny and speak life and restoration into the body of Christ. Speak only the Truth of His Word and stand on the promises that He has given you in the wilderness.
Read and study the word on the journey of the ark; how it was captured, taken away and returned back home to the House of David.
You can read about this in the book of 2 Samuel.
1 Chronicles 13: 3-4
“‘Let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we did not inquire of[a] it[b] during the reign of Saul.’ 4 The whole assembly agreed to do this, because it seemed right to all the people”
It is time to step out of the wilderness, to pass the smoke screens and to bring the ark back home! Speak life!
Much love and many blessings,
