Myrtle essential oil is obtained by the steam distillation of the myrtle plant’s flowers, leaves, and stem, which
is called Myrtus Communis in the botanical world. Biblical references note that the myrtle tree is seen as a
symbol of God’s promise, blessing, and abundance. In ancient history the bravest soldiers, athletes, and
nobles were honoured with the leaves of the Myrtle plant. It was also prized for its medicinal properties.
