When God wants to release a word through me I always first experience it for myself.
We all have great expectations for the year ahead but for most people the year started with a “bang” leaving some feeling overwhelmed and even hopeless.
For the last 2 weeks these words were birthed in my spirit, “Jesus make new wine out of me”.
Matthew 9:16-17 Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 But no one puts a piece of unshrunk (new) cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and a worse tear results. 17 Nor is new wine put into old [a]wineskins [that have lost their elasticity]; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the [fermenting] wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so both are preserved.”
A few nights ago I had a supernatural experience that left me speechless and emotional for a few days:
Saturday night I woke up in the early morning, round about 3 am. This is usually the time that Abba speaks to me, but this time it was different. I woke up feeling how the presence of God was leaving me, I could physically feel His presence leaving me. All of a sudden I felt hopeless, scared, fearful, I don’t have words to describe how I felt at that moment. In my mind I was rushing through so many thoughts and asking Abba, “Why are you leaving me, what did I do wrong for your presence to depart from me?” I can’t explain the agony I felt in my spirit at that moment. I moved closer to my husband and fell into a deep sleep while lying behind his back holding onto him just to feel that comfort. At that moment I had a dream –
I dreamed that I was walking in a wine celler with a man. I knew this man was evil even though he seemed “normal”. In this wine cellar he had different bottles filled with wine. I am not a wine person and I don’t even drink wine but in the dream I knew that this was not real wine. Even though people were drinking it and to them it tasted like wine, I just knew, without drinking or tasting the wine, that it was not real wine. It was “poison” false wine that this man was giving to the people, and I knew that those who were misled to drink this wine will eventually “die” as they are being “poisoned”. The dream was vague at that moment, but afterwards Abba gave me the full understanding.
I woke up from this dream, still feeling hopeless, alone and abonded. I cried out to the Lord Jesus and He answered me. “I am allowing you to feel and taste of the false wine so that you will be able to discern the new wine (truth)”. He said to me that He is about to do something completely new, something that we have never tasted before!
I cried when it was daybreak. I never want to experience that again! But for the first time I know what Jesus felt on the cross when He cried out!
“Eloi Eloi lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:45
No words can describe what I felt at that moment! I have a new passion for the lost and the hopeless!
God is about to pour out New Wine over the whole of creation, but in the same time Satan is presenting “old wine”. If we do not let go of our old ways, religion, offenses, greed, etc. we will miss the outpouring of the new wine! The outpouring of His Spirit in the last days.
Acts 2:17
In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
The outpouring of the new will be something that the world has never seen before. And God’s eyes are running to and fro looking for new wine skins (His Children) to pour this new wine into them. God is going to manifest Himself in and through us, the sons of God, like never before.
Be careful what you drink of in the days to come. Resist the enemy and He will flee from you. If you drink of the “old wine” it will leave you in utter despair and it will seperate you from the presence of God.
Wait on God to fill you with His new wine and out of your overflow others will drink. We are stepping into the era of signs, wonders and miracles, our shadows will heal! Creative miracles will become “normal”. Heaven on earth will be manifested through the new wine skins (the sons of God).
Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Be ready! Wait for God to move! He is about to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ask or think. No man will recieve the credit for what He is about to release on the earth.
He saved the best for last….
John 2:1-11
Jesus turning water into wine…
and said to him, “Everyone else serves his best wine first, and when people have [c]drunk freely, then he serves that which is not so good; but you have kept back the good wine until now.”
Be ready! Be alert! Be expectant!
